Out of all the stages of Cocoon, whether it was floating in the sky, suspended by a crystal pillar, or falling from deterioration, I would have liked to see it in a period of time before it was scarred by Ragnarok.
I liked how XIII-2 had multiple alternate endings, but I kind of wish they were more like mechanics throughout the game that affected the end after beating the final boss, rather than alt-reality timelines randomly placed throughout different points in the story. Given that they were planning a sequel, I can let it slide but I hope they maybe consider having your actions affecting what happens at the end of XIII-3.
I hate that the Thirteenth Ark wasn’t included in FF XIII-2. Having us search instead for the Gravitational Cores Fragments scattered very obscurely over the previously timelines came across as a tedious and annoying side quest rather than a main game event.
I don’t like that the main characters from the first game were cut out so much. It almost felt like a new game, not a sequel.
If there’s one thing FF XIII and FF XIII-2 have taught me then it is hope and how you should never give it up. It’s amazing how many people have started hoping for the same thing after playing these games: a happy ending. Lets pray that this was just a lesson Square wanted to teach us and FF XIII-3 will finally take us there!
When I finally made it to Academia 500 AF, I realized I had actually traveled BACK in time. ‘Cause here I was - in TETRIS-land!
Yuj is really sexy.
I’m very upset that the crystallized Cocoon did end up falling. It was beautiful and if I lived in New Bodhum I would stare at the thing all night.
I’d love to have a Miniflan as a pet.
Square Enix are being cruel to all the characters in FF XIII-2. I hope everyone can find happiness in XIII-3. Well if they make one. I hope they do and fix the endings.
